Our interprofessional collaborative team is focused on a unique fusion of exploratory research to generate new evidence for nature-based health promotion while translating current evidence into intervention design. Our hope is to co-create strategies with community members and intersectoral partners to achieve a sustainable vision.

To raise awareness of specific health benefits of nature exploration and to identify everyday opportunities to explore nature.

To prescribe nature, based on individual/family preferences.

To evaluate the effects of nature on a range of mental and physical health outcomes.

To evaluate the quality and proximity of the physical environment (recreational areas) for low-income and other high risk, vulnerable populations.

To examine the equitable access of high-quality recreational areas for low-income and other high risk, vulnerable populations.

Share it.

To activate policy and advocacy partners throughout the community to support nature-based health promotion, climate health, and nature conservation.
